At the young age of 18, Owner Ty Whiting found his passion in the excavation industry. Within the next 10 years Ty worked for 3 different excavation companies, allowing him to understand the multiple sectors and practices of the construction industry. In 1995 Ty founded South Brant Excavating Inc, primarily taking on agricultural and residential projects in his early years. As experience, employees and equipment accumulated, Ty was able to transition to full site servicing of agricultural, residential, commercial and industrial projects.
South Brant Excavating has since grown into an 8 – 10 employee operation servicing southern Ontario. Throughout 25 years of growth the company has expanded its knowledge, experience, customer base and equipment fleet, allowing for precise and efficient completion of your next project. Moving forward, Ty will be guiding his sons to the next generation of projects.
